How to go to Uppsala

The closest airport to Uppsala is Stockholm Arlanda. The airport is located just in between Stockholm (40km South) and Uppsala (30km North).

Once you are at Arlanda airport, you can use one of the following ways to go to Uppsala:

Train one per hour goes to Uppsala in ~20 min. Price ~£16.

Bus 801 leaves every 30 min and brings you to Uppsala train station in ~30 min. Price ~£10.

Taxi can take you to central Uppsala in ~20 min. Price ~£55.

Ryanair goes from London Stansted to Stockholm but the flights arrive at Stockholm Skavsta which is located 100km South of Stockholm so about 170km of Uppsala.

To go to Uppsala from there you will need to take a bus to Stockholm (should take ~1h20) and then another bus or train to Uppsala (respectively 40 min and 1h). So make sure you take this into account before buying a ticket with them!
